You seem to imply my use of 3.3.1-2 against 3.3.1-3 could be a problem.
Can you tell me where can i get 3.3.1-3 vai ftp/http. 
I have no direct access to CVS.

Yes  That's what I did second time I had to do manual make.
But I hope it gets fixed as a part of default install that is downloaded
by users.

Do you mean libXm.2.... kind of libraries.
I did a find on my /usr and /sw but could not find any.
Also the moment I remove my soft link from /usr/lib/ pointing to library in /sw
ddd on launch says the paticular motif library not found.So i think i can safely assume
that it is using(trying to use) the new compiled/installed lesstif library only.
Meanwhile I already see lesstif installation bug reported by Rich Gronostajski 
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
at this mailing list.
