Fink requires the installation of libncurses, along with all it's terminfo files. But MacOSX 10.2 comes with libncurses as well. The only difference seems to be that the apple version also has terminfo files for supporting the Apple Terminal application correctly.
Unfortunately, fink packages compiled against the fink version of libncurses (/sw/lib/libncurses) look for terminfo files in /sw/share/terminfo - and apple distributed apps are compiled against /usr/lib/libncurses, and look in /usr/share/terminfo for terminfo files. This makes it very confusing. Is there any reason to have fink install libncurses anymore?
