If you look in boostrap.pl, you will see that it copies the necessary 
fink files into a tarball into /sw/src, then installs it like a regular 
fink package. The bug was that it wasn't copying the shlibs.default.in 
file into the tarball.  (bootstrap.pl line 346. just add 
shlibs.default.in there, or run cvs update to get the fixed one)
