I have a quick KDE question and I didn't see anything resembling this
one in the archives, nor did I see anything of use at KDE.org....
OS 10.2.2
Fink 0.5.0a.cvs/0.11.1
Today I installed KDE via dselect. I selected kdebase3-ssl and I got
version 3.0.7-3 and the associated dependent files. Everything
downloaded and installed fine. Modified .xinitrc to startkde and I'm
into the latest beta release of 3.1. Oops, I noted too late that I'm
still on the cvs tree, but I guess I can live on the bleeding edge a
while... I'll read up on getting out of the cvs world later.
Everything's great except I have no kicker (taskbar) on the bottom of
the full screen mode I run in. Did I miss a lib? The screenshots on
kde.org clearly show one, so I don't believe I'm looking at a "feature."
Everything else seems to be running fairly normally at this early stage,
having downloaded it just a few hours ago.... I can open KWord and
other apps, but only via the Run Program menu choice; I have no Program
menu....
