FYI, I see the same problem when selecting the Logic panel in Dia. I'm
running Apple's X11 and Gnome1 (cvs tree). Everything (except Gnome)
has been updated when posted.

Well not exactly, but the date corresponds to the time I made
manipulation with XFree86 threaded and not threaded so that Apple's
X11 be happy. So, for Fink, yes I installed freetype2 before XFree86.
