A rergular flat text file with 3 lines. This is not a
postscript printer, the Canon BJC-85 is an ordinary
USB inkjet printer.

Good, sounds like I'm not the only fink user with this
problem..

Well, I CAN print to my printer with NO PROBLEM from
X11 apps. They all use the same printer drivers,
right? So I really don't think it is a driver issue.

You're right, but this isn't an option for me. I'm
printing onto labels, which need very precise
alignment that would be lost if I printed to PDF.
You're right that it could be a temporary workaround
until the real problem is fixed, if I coiuld live
without precise alignment issues..
I want to request help with the real problem, not a
workaround. This is a major problem, which appears to
be shared by other fink users.
