Yeah I did definitely. is weird, i finally got it to show up, but it took like 2 or 3 selfupdate-cvs commands before it did.
I killed everything since I had nothing really installed yet, and reinstalled fink and got the same results. They showed up but it wouldn't pull everything from the unstable tree at once for some reason. It took a few tries and each time more and more of the unstable releases would finally show up.
Are you using FinkCommander? I have observed this behavior there sometimes, too. I don't know how it can happen, because if you do selfupdate-cvs, either with FinkCommander or by hand, there is no way (except stopping cvs before it finishes) that only part of the packages get updated. I think that FinkCommander sometimes is lying about the packages that are present on the system. If you use "fink list" on the command line, I am pretty sure this cannot happen.
