Hrm, only thing I can think of that would cause this is maybe if your qt ended up getting half-built against the wrong libpng...


What do you get when you run the following commands?

  fink list -i qt3
  otool -L /sw/lib/qt3-plugins/imageformats/libqpng.dylib

Also, what happens when you run '/sw/bin/uic' by itself on the command-line?
