Hi!

You're welcome--I had hoped that the problem was something easier to diagnose.

Now I found something strange: When I try to compile gtk+2 at the beginning I get the following output:

checking X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h usability... no
checking X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
checking for X11/Xft/XftFreetype.h... yes

When I look for Freetype.h I can't find it. Only in /sw/include/freetype2/freetype/ there is freetype.h written like this. By the way there is no directory X11/Xft/ or something like that on my machine. Is that normal?

Thanks
Ralf
