[Fink-users] has something happened to stable/gettext?

i'm trying to install a couple of packages (aterm and squid) after 
updating to the current cvs via 'fink selfupdate-cvs' and doing an 
'update-all'. (it had been 6 months or so since I last did this, so 
there was some core package updating).

now i get the following error when trying to install aterm:

 files list file for package `gettext-dev' is missing final newline

this is while trying to run dpkg --install aterm...deb

i get the same error while trying to run dpkg --install readline...deb 
when trying to install squid.

have i gone and hosed something up? tia.
