Kip: No. You have system-xfree86 installed, which means you have Apple X11, which is version 4.2. If you want abiword, you must remove your Apple X11 installation first, then install abiword (which will install pango1-xft2-dev pango-xft2-shlibs xfree86 xfree86-shlibs). -Jeff -- Jeffrey S.
