I have tried the following (with no success):
- installing cvs with fink; - connecting to the cvs-server "manually" with cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/fink login - switching my firewall and web tunnel proxies off etc etc.
I have installed 10.2.8.
I have indeed updated my OpenSSH with fink to OpenSSH_3.7.1p2, Might this cause the problems?
I get the following error messages:
cvs update: warning: skipping invalid entry in password file at line 1 cvs [update aborted]: unrecognized auth response from cvs.sourceforge.net: M PserverBackend::PserverBackend() Connect (Connection refused)
or the same lines with: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
Can somebody please check with Sourceforge what is going on?????
