This also worked for me...except...

It only allows me to run X11 using KDE. I'd like the option of sometimes running KDE, while other times just opening a quick application from my normal Mac desktop. (ideally also allowing me to use the fullscreen X11 with KDE and the rootless with single apps).

I tried a wide variety of ways around this, but nothing else seemed to work.

Other random KDE questions:
Has anyone found a set of fonts that looks good? Similarly are the mac fonts already installed. If not, how can I go about that.

KOffice and KDevelop both seem missing (I've checked both stable and unstable feeds). I'm assuming they'll reappear eventually. Any information about them? Dia is another application that I once had installed, but cannot find in the 10.3 feeds.

The “export KDEWM=kwin” line as written in the fink info file for bundle-kde solved all of my troubles.  (You’d think that after all this time I would be smart enough to read those info files...)  ;^)  KDE is working perfectly for me now under 10.3’s X11.
