Thanks for the help, but running that command doesn't seem to have made a change. (update descriptions still hits 10.2 and dist-upgrade makes 0 changes)


Well what i did eventually, was to edit the file /sw/etc/apt/sources.lst and replaced occurances of "10.2" with "10.3"


seems to be now upgrading after a dselect
