I don't know why but this morning Fink insisted in installing those libraries among with others:
fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual dependency. The
candidates:
(1) mime-base64-pm560: Perl module that contains a base64 enc/dec (2) mime-base64-pm581: Perl module that contains a base64 enc/dec
I picked (2), though I've never touched perl (directly I mean): which perl: /usr/bin/perl perl --version: v5.8.1-RC3 built for darwin-thread-multi-2level
Then Fink wanted to installed and updated the following packages:

Installation of libwww-pm581 failed as already said in a previous email.
Since then, I have those packages:
(i) libwww-pm 5.76-10 Placeholder for versioned libwww packages
(i) libxml-pm 0.07-10 Placeholder for versioned libxml packages
(i) scribus 1.1.4-11 Layout program
(i) xml-dom-pm 1.43-10 Placeholder for versioned XML::DOM packages
(i) xml-parser-pm 2.34-10 Placeholder for versioned XML::Parser packages
(i) xml-parser-pm581 2.34-10 Perl ext interface to XML parser/expat
which cannot be updated.
Is there a way to solve this problem as I work on xml at the moment. Thanks in advance.
