My fink-install from scratch wen smoothly.

the following gnuplot install seemed promising, ...
Setting up aquaterm (0.3.0a-5) ...

Setting up readline-shlibs (4.3-15) ...
Setting up libjpeg-shlibs (6b-6) ...
Setting up libtiff-shlibs (3.5.7-7) ...
Setting up gnuplot (3.8i.0-16) ...

...BUT
there is a new problem:
dyld: /sw/bin/gnuplotx can't open library: /sw/lib/libpdf.2.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

There is a new dependency on libpdf.2.dylib that was not installed. I don't know which package to install manually. clibpdf???
now how do i get that sorted out?

thanks for help.

See if you can get it with "fink install fink-mirrors".

fink configure

i did that now fink configure asks me to install fink-mirrors and then to run fink configure again.

how do i install the fink-mirrors-package?

apt-get install fink-mirrors doesn't work, because the package isn't found.

i did a version-check:
fink --version
Package manager version: 0.17.4
Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs

looking at the fink-package list i see that the fink-mirrors package ist not present in fink 0.6.2.

do i need the chicken or the egg first?

thanks in advance.
