I've twice installed Xcode, X11, fink, and fink commander. I can usually install the binary packages without problems, but downloading and compiling apps hasn't worked nine times out of ten. I tried running "fink selfupdate" in terminal, but it failed. Here is the error message:
fink-0.19.2/VERSION make test Creating fink... ./setup.sh: line 34: 1183 Segmentation fault sed "s|@BASEPATH@|$basepath|g" <fink.in >fink make: *** [test_setup] Error 139 ### execution of make failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling fink-0.19.2-1 failed And here is my system info (iMac 600 w/ 512 MB RAM): user% sw_vers ProductName: Mac OS X ProductVersion: 10.3.3 BuildVersion: 7F44 user% fink -v Fink 0.17.4 user% gcc -v Reading specs from /usr/libexec/gcc/darwin/ppc/3.3/specs Thread model: posix gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1495) user% ls -ld /sw lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 20 14 Mar 19:11 /sw -> /Volumes/Firewire/sw user% ls -ld /Volumes/Firewire/sw drwxr-xr-x 15 spliff unknown 510 15 Mar 12:43 /Volumes/Firewire/sw Any ideas? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
