Any quick workaround or is waiting for an update the best? (There is no
rush for an update on my side.)
Quick workaround (not yet completely tested, but should at least get rid of this error):
fink remove libwww
Or just move /sw/lib/libwwwcache.dylib out of the way.
In principle, the -search_paths_first flag is supposed to take care of this problem. It is a pity that it doesn't work. It should perhaps be written as "-Wl,-search_paths_first". CCing the maintainer of amaya.
Indeed, the -search_paths_first is just ignored by g++ when used for linking. Unfortunately, "-Wl,-search_paths_first" doesn't solve the problem by itself. In addition, "NoSetLDFLAGS: true" has to be specified. Otherwise "-L/sw/lib" comes before any other libraries.
I committed a fixed version to 10.3/unstable.
Cheers,
Remi
