After getting the same error with imagemagick-6.0.7-4, I
just tried imagemagick-6.0.7-5, and instead of the
Quickstart.txt failure I got:

Selecting previously deselected package imagemagick-shlibs.
Unpacking imagemagick-shlibs (from
.../imagemagick-shlibs_6.0.7-5_darwin-powerpc.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/graphics/imagemagick-shlibs_6.0.7-5_darwin-powerpc.deb
(--install):
trying to overwrite `/sw/lib/libltdl.3.1.0.dylib', which is
also in package libtool14-shlibs
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of
imagemagick:
 imagemagick depends on imagemagick-shlibs (= 6.0.7-5);
however:
  Package imagemagick-shlibs is not installed.
dpkg: error processing imagemagick (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:

/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/graphics/imagemagick-shlibs_6.0.7-5_darwin-powerpc.deb
 imagemagick
### execution of dpkg failed, exit code 1
Failed: can't batch-install packages:
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/graphics/imagemagick_6.0.7-5_darwin-powerpc.deb
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/graphics/imagemagick-shlibs_6.0.7-5_darwin-powerpc.deb

So...do I remove libtool then try to install? Can I then
replace libtool? Do I need libtool installed for anything
else (wasn't something I chose to install directly so
something else must depend on it). At least I seem to have
a viable .deb, even if I haven't managed to install it...
