Before I try transferring a snip of the error log to this computer for emailing, is there a known problem with a component of koffice not working with the new Xcode that other people have run into?
(side note...instead of using source->install, would it work just as well to use binary->install? Or is the source version usually kept more up-to-date?)

I know about the note on new Xcode 1.5, but didn't know if anyone experienced it in conjunction with compiling koffice; I didn't see the specific packages mentioned (it looked, at glance, like it had something to do with an imagemagik library? But imagemagik after all was said and done was one of the components listed as installed in fink commander...). It didn't seem to show up in the bug reports browser on the fink page (koffice keyword), but it could be a component doing it. I'll have to see about getting output sent to this laptop so I can send it to the list to show the error it ends with and see if it's related.
