I just installed the 10.3.7 update, and I noticed messages like this in the log:

Dec 19 19:29:02 : 2004-12-19 19:29:02.386 update_prebinding[2488] redo_prebinding on /Applications/Utilities/X11.app/Contents/MacOS/X11:library: //usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.6.dylib (architecture ppc) prebinding not up to date with dependent dynamic shared library: //usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib.

Dec 19 19:31:43 : 2004-12-19 19:31:43.218 update_prebinding[2488] redo_prebinding on /usr/X11R6/bin/Xnest:library: //usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.6.dylib (architecture
ppc) prebinding not up to date with dependent dynamic shared library: //usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib.

(lots, like 15 for X11R6)

Does this suggest rebuilding Xorg (installed via fink from source) would be a good idea?? Or are these prebinding failures something that doesn't matter at all in practice?

thanks,
