To determine the compatibility-version, run the command otool -L /sw/lib/libsamplerate.0.dylib
you'll find the answer in the output. The name "libsamplerate0" is correct, the package looks fine at a brief glance. These things aren't addressed in the FAQ, which is mainly aimed at problems experienced by end-users. It's great that you want to make fink packages: we need more packagers!
