I just tried to install gimp2 on my new tiger install (erase and install) and it failed because it said I didn't have libgimpprint installed. I did install gimpprint with tiger (the package receipt is in /Library/Receipts) and I do have libgimpprint.7.dylib in /usr/lib (and the links to it). The gimp-print7-shlibs and gimp-print7-dev fink packages are installed.
The gimp2 install fails to find gimpprint-config (a script) and I think this is the reason it thinks I don't have gimpprint installed. This script usually lives in /usr/bin (it did on my 10.3 system) but I don't have it now. Does anyone know if this script is usually installed by tiger? Maybe when it installed the package it missed a file (can that happen?). Other suggestions?
