hello, i moved to europe recently and hadn't updated fink in a while... now when i try to update it always times out... i have tried many times at all hours of the day, does anyone have any idea what my problem might be?
here is the verison i am running: [EMAIL PROTECTED] fink --version /Users/albers/sysadmin/manuals 1 Package manager version: 0.23.3 Distribution version: 0.7.1.cvs here is the problem: [EMAIL PROTECTED] fink selfupdate /Users/albers/sysadmin/manuals 1 I will now run the cvs command to retrieve the latest package descriptions. The 'su' command will be used to run the cvs command as the user 'albers'. After that, the core packages will be updated right away; you should then update the other packages using commands like 'fink update-all'. /usr/bin/su albers -c 'cvs -q -z3 update -d -P' cvs [update aborted]: connect to cvs.sourceforge.net:2401 failed: Operation timed out ### execution of /usr/bin/su failed, exit code 1 Failed: Updating using CVS failed.
