Sorry for my english, I'm not a good english speaker.

Since I have installed Tiger I can't use "gnome-terminal" because the "Alt" key is not interpreted. So, their is no way to have "\" with my french keyboard (normaly Alt + /) or the pipe key "|" (Alt + Maj + L). It's very hard to use Unix command without these facilities.

As I can't re-install Eterm (compilation errors), I'm forced to use "Xterm" (it's very hard !).

If you have any way...
Same here, no way to use any special characters on non English keyboard in all gtk applications.
