Even after rebuilding and reinstalling dods, this library is not
created. Here's what the directory contains:

I couldn't find anything with nc-dods in the rebuild output of
dods, either.
That's odd. I've just built dods and I do havelibnc-dods.a in the deb:
[maretmaclt2:/sw/fink/debs] smaret% dpkg -c dods_3.4.5-5_darwin-
powerpc.deb | grep "nc-dods"

Which version of odd are you trying to build ? Which fink version do
you have ?
