Sorry for the off topic post, but I am having X11 problems. Since
upgrading to Tiger, and doing a bunch of other installs, my X11 is
broken. I have reinstalled both the app and the sdk but with no
change. No matter what I do, the X11 cannot connect to the localhost
to display anything. Therefore none of my Fink apps work either.
The simplest example is the xhost command. On a compuer on the net,
that works from my laptop, in response to the xhost i get:
xhost: unable to open display "localhost:0"
I have looked at my /etc/hosts file and other stuff, and I am
stumped. Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated.
