I don't recall ever seeing it with anything that's not GTK-based, but that doesn't mean that there aren't other strange issues floating around--none seem to have been identified as of yet.


The -ssl packages work fine, but due to licensing issues must be  
built from source.  There are issues with GTK packages and some ssl  
stuff, but that's covered in the FAQ now.


You're referring to question 4.19?

The above-mentioned GTK problem, which is due to the OS rather than  
anything in Fink.
