At this time, there's no such centralized thing to query. We're working on one, but it's not yet in general use. When it becomes "the official way" to handle bugs, it appears there will be a URL for each packagename, so it would be easy for FinkCommander to open it in one's browser, and include it in the usual error message that currently mentions running 'fink selfupdate', RTFFAQ, and use fink-* mailing lists. OTOH, bugs will still likely be heavily discussed on the mailing lists and I fear having Yet Another Bug System could spread out the useful info into multiple disjoint venues. But given that the current systems appear inadequate and disorganized, we'll have to wait and see. dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
