Try a "fink selfupdate" first. There's a newer revision (-57) out.
I did one just before compiling it the first time, but that was two days ago :~(
I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and do it again. At least -53 was
faster
than the version before that (it ran 4 days before running out of disk space).

If I manually fix permissions and do "fink install openoffice.org"
will it start
compiling for 48 hours all over again or will it be able to pick up
from where it
left off? (The last time I tried install ing openoffice.org and got
the full disk error,
it started all over again.) If "fink install openoffice.org" will
start over, is there
a way around this by manually entering commands?
It will start over at the beginning--I don't think you really can get
away with issuing commands manually.
