'fink info openssh' includes some usage notes that address both of
these issues. The startup issue appears to use a 10.3ish method, but I
believe it also works for Tiger. A question about setting a standard
way (there currently isn't one) to do it for Fink-on-Tiger was just
posted on fink-devel.
