fink install openoffice.org-en-gb
Failed: Can't resolve dependency " openoffice.org
(=1.9m121-57)" for package "openoffice.org-en-gb-1.9m121-57"
(no matching packages/versions found)

fink list openoffice.org
      openoffice.org   1.9m121-59   Integrated office
productivity suite
      openoffice.o...  1.9m121-57   Language Pack(af) for
OpenOffice.org
      openoffice.o.. .  1.9m121-57   Language Pack(ar) for
OpenOffice.org
[etc...]

Note the -59 for openoffice.org compared to -57 for the
languages...looks like it might be something simple like an
incorrect substitution in the dependencies??

And...is this the correct way to install Openoffice (choose
the language package you want and press "go")?  I'm assuming
(since the list has gone quiet about it) that it no longer
eats inordinate amounts of disk space during the compile...

thanks,

I believe the answer to both questions is yes.  I'd guess that the main package was reworked a couple of times and the language packs weren't updated to match it.  Apparently most of the users of this package use US English and therefore weren't affected.
