And...is this the correct way to install Openoffice (choose
the language package you want and press "go")? I'm assuming
(since the list has gone quiet about it) that it no longer
eats inordinate amounts of disk space during the compile...
I believe the answer to both questions is yes. I'd guess that the main
package was reworked a couple of times and the language packs weren't
updated to match it. Apparently most of the users of this package use US
English and therefore weren't affected.
Thanks to both Alexander and Jonathan for the replies. I
will keep an eye on the package versions when I do
"selfupdate" -- hopefully a fix will come through soon...
