This package is indeed severely broken. It doesn't build on recent fink
versions because of a weird InstallScript that should never have been
there in the first place (maintainer CCed, although I don't know if he
is still around; this strange thing is actually rather old). In
addition, the source tarball on the Fink mirrors is quite different from
the one with the same name on the original URL: different checksum, and
installs into a different directory. The old version which is in Fink
doesn't actually exist any more on the original URL.
Since this needs some serious repair work (best combined with an upgrade
to the current release), I have opened a bug tracker item #1309246, so
that whoever feels up to it can contribute to a solution.
