This package is indeed severely broken. It doesn't build on recent fink versions because of a weird InstallScript that should never have been there in the first place

I know this is more of a 'beginners' question, but what is the safest way to remove the trail of a failed fink install, like this one, from a system? Do I just remove every instance of a file or folder with the term 'httrack' in the name from the /sw directory? Or is there a proper command line method that keeps my fink database 'accurate'?

Also, I noticed in my news reader (Thunderbird) that the fink mail lists appear to have been shortened recently. Do older messages get archived on some sort of recurring schedule, or is it that I've inadvertently set something in my news reader to 'filter' out these older messages?

Thanks, as always, for your superb support!
