because http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/numarray-py24
reflects only that version being available...? (But I'd be happy to
try it if there is a way to do so.)
If you have compiled an earlier version of numarray (and haven't done
a fink cleanup recently), the deb file (a symlink in fact) should be
in /sw/fink/debs. You can downgrade with sudo dpkg -i file.deb.
