Sadly, this does not work for me.  I still get the RegisterProcess problem.



I did a Google search and it seems like this is a problem with pine itself and 
shared libraries and/or Mac libraries, not a particular script or pinerc 
directive.  It may even be particular to XCode 2.2.  I think that no matter 
what I could set url-viewers would change or fix the problem.
