Hi,
I installed xorg instead of apples X11 and so I tried to install
applex11tools, but the installer doesn't find my X11User.pkg although
I placed it to where it should be. I think the panther-version is
needed but I dont't have one. Is there a possibility to install
applex11tools with Tiger?
Thanks and best regards
Ralf
Umm...no. You need whatever version of X11User.pkg is appropriate for
your OS--the Panther version for Panther and the Tiger version for
Tiger.
No, the Tiger-Version doesn't work.
You didn't copy the X11User.pkg file from /Library/Receipts by any
chance?
I tried to copy it to Users ("Benutzer") and to / Volumes, after that
didn't work I downloaded it again from the apple website and tried
the same. In the meantime I read an old posting in this group and
copied the required files by hand and now quartz-wm works! Thanks
Ralf
