I do use screen, so I can monitor the compile process from where

happen to be, and keep a complete log without having an unlimited
buffer in
Terminal.app. I have another compile attempt running now, also using
screen. If it fails, I will try again without screen and report

It's gonna break.
Openoffice.org _cannot_ be built in a screen session on OSX. I beleve
the reason is that the java stuff requires Aqua to be running, and
screen disrupts this.
OK. I killed the build, and will try again without screen.
If screen cannot be used to compile it, it would be nice to add that
info to the .info file. I know I'm not the only fink user who uses
screen.
