Yes, that would indeed help.

We do tell people to update to the latest Xcode--your problem happened
to  look superficially like one that occurred for people even on a
later one.

I should have checked, though.

Do you have the unstable tree turned on?  According to

http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/mozilla-shlibs

there isn't a version in the stable tree for Intel boxes yet.

(though gaim-ssl probably should have been tagged as Architecture:
powerpc until the Intel-happy mozilla* got moved over to stable--it's
probably easier just to move mozilla over, especially since this is
the last version ever)
