After updating almost all (fink 0.26.0, Mac OS X 10.4.6) I still had xfree86-shlibs and quartz-wm left to go:
># fink list -to >Information about 6728 packages read in 2 seconds. >(i) quartz-wm 1.1.3-1 Apple's quartz-wm window manager >(i) xfree86-shlibs 4.5.0-1045 Free X11 implementation Quartz-wm we discussed some months ago: wants newer version of X11, which I can't install because I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.6. Is that the problem for xfree86-shlibs as well? I got: ># fink -y install xfree86-shlibs >Information about 6728 packages read in 2 seconds. >The following package will be installed or updated: > xfree86-shlibs >Reading buildlock packages... > All buildlocks accounted for. > >While trying to install: > > xfree86-shlibs-4.5.0-1045 > >The following inconsistencies found: > Unsatisfied dependency in xaw3d-shlibs: x11 >(same message for xaw3d-shlibs lesstif-shlibs, blt-shlibs, povray, >imagemagick10-shlibs, t1lib1-shlibs, tetex-base, libglade2, >gd2-shlibs, tcltk-shlibs, xfontpath, t1lib5-shlibs) > Unsatisfied dependency in quartz-wm: xfree86 (>= 4.4.0-1) | >system-xfree86 (>= 4.4-1) | xorg >(>= 6.7.99-1) > Unsatisfied dependency in gtk+-shlibs: x11 >(same message for gtk+2-shlibs, gconf2, graphviz, libglade2-shlibs, >ggv, imagemagick-shlibs, gtk+, emacs22, gtk+2, calcoo, fontforge, >libgnomeui2-shlibs, imagemagick, giflib-bin, giflib-shlibs, >libzvt2-shlibs, qt3-designer, qt3-linguist, gdk-pixbuf-shlibs, >axyftp, libgnomeprint2.2-shlibs, openmotif3-shlibs, >x-ghostscript-fonts, ghostscript, xaw3d, aalib-shlibs, gftp-ssl, >xpdf) > >Trying to resolve dependencies... >Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies! > >Fink isn't sure how to install the above packages safely.
