It would be more useful to see the crash report (file 
amarokapp.crash.log in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/), because this 
shows also the loaded libraries.

Also the output of

   otool -L /sw/bin/amarokapp

would be useful.

The last guy who reported this kind of error had a stray 
libfreetype.dylib in /usr/local/lib and managed to link his executable 
to libfreetype.6.dylib in both /sw/lib and /usr/local/lib at the same 
time. A third version in /usr/X11R6/lib was then pulled in during 
runtime and made the mess complete.
