Hi Gregory,

I have no intentions to package pidgin, partially due to the heavy
workload involved in properly packaging this complex application,
partially due to a general lack of interest on my part in it (I have
switched to Adium a long time ago).

Some time ago I sent an email to fink-devel trying to find somebody
to take over the gaim package and work on pidgin, but so far nobody
stepped up.

Bye,
Max
