g3data had been working on my system for some time, but it suddenly
failed.
The symptom: it hangs when trying to bring up a window. I tried re-
building
from fink and also from the source downloaded from the g3data
site...no dice.

I also noticed that gimp-2.0 does not work anymore. It brings up a
blank
gray window and then hangs. I'm pretty sure it used to work (but I
haven't
used it in some time). Since both of these use gtk+2 I tried a
rebuild, but
again no improvement. The only possibly serious warning I saw was
"sw/lib//libintl.la seems to be moved". However, when I type ls /sw/
lib//libintl.la,
that library is present. Is it possibly corrupted? If so, how can I
replace it?

(gimp-1.2 and xmgrace, among others, run properly so it's not the X-
window manager)

I am using a G4 Power-PC running OSX 10.4.11.
Package manager: 0.24.15
Distribution: 0.8.0.rsync

The version of gtk+2 is 2.6.10-1, which is in the unstable tree. If
this is
the problem, is there a way to force the stable version? (I generally
use Fink Commander).
