I had assumed that you had checked them out yourself from CVS and were commenting about the lack of a finkinfo directory
The Trees: line of fink.conf just tells fink the base paths to search. If there's no finkinfo directory _somewhere_ in those, fink won't take note of any packages in them. Richard E.
