I think you're better off waiting until pangicairo is ready for public use. At this time, it requires knowing something about how fink is set up internally and a lot of manual cvs commands. If you're not familiar with cvs, you're going to get frustrated and need a lot of help, requiring us to take time away from getting pangocairo ready for everyone. Pangocairo still needs work (which is why it's not released yet), and really needs people who know how to fix things in it or at least provide detailed and specific bug reports), not just users who want to use it. As soon as it's ready for public use, we'll let everyone know.
