I think, yes, xcode-3.1 would fix it. It shouldn't be a requirement, 
however, because in principle all packages that suffer from this bug 
have already been corrected. I don't know how this one escaped until 
now. Has no one eve built it on Leopard?

In fact, I don't know why the bug is triggered at all by this compiler 
command line. It doesn't show any -lGL flag. Mystery.
