Try running "sudo chmod 1775 /" to set the permissions to allow you run the test. In general, you're much better off to try getting help with whatever package is failing to build (and this helps us improve things as well) rather than removing Fink and starting over. Often you may wind up with exactly the same error--in this case probably not, if you're going to use an unofficial binary distribution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
