thanks. for some reason i thought i had a more up-to-date version of xcode, but i don't. i am getting the current version; hopefully that will fix my woes.
i use my box for both work and personal stuff... and for work i prefer to use fvwm and all my old unix/linux fixings. thus, i need x11 in fullscreen... and x11, as far as i can tell, is junk in leopard. so, until i upgrade my hard drive and run both linux and osx (this is not that far off), or until leopard supports x11 full screen, i am stuck with tiger. my computer actually came with leopard and i had to dump it a get my old version of tiger... 10.4.11 is the current version of tiger, and is what i am running. thanks for the help, best, dave On Wed, 21 Jan 2009, James Mckenzie wrote: > David Albers <[email protected]> wrote: >> Sent: Jan 21, 2009 1:35 PM >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: [Fink-users] quick update question >> >> hey everybody, >> >> i haven't updated fink in a while. i ran fink self-update and everything >> was great. then i ran fink update-all and got: >> >> fink update-all >> /Users/albers 0 >> Information about 7824 packages read in 1 seconds. >> Can't resolve dependency "xcode (>= 2.5)" for package "gcc43-4.3.2-1000" > > You need to update XCode from Apple.
