Hi, I don't know what caused this failure on intel OSX 10.5.6, but gcc44-4.3.999-20090407 built fine on ppc(G5)/intel(Core2Duo) OSX 10.5.6 and ppc(G4) OSX 10.4.11.
A few comments: gcc44 conflicts with malina; obj(c|-c++) is broken on 10.5; libjava works with multilib on intel (but -m64 is broken on ppc). I have also a request: would it be possible to package the gcc4* in such a way that the directories bin, include, libexec, and share are kept when switching from one version to another one (e.g. through gcc4*-bin packages)? The different packages conflict only through the symbolic links in /sw/bin (and the doc?) and replacing one package by another one takes a noticeable time on slow machines whih is annoying in the transient regime where some packages use gcc4x and others gcc4x+1. Thanks for the work, Dominique . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: High Quality Requirements in a Collaborative Environment.
